Implementations

The service we provide is tailored to suit the client according to it’s size and the specific project objectives and we utilize a proven methodology to ensure that every project is brought to a beneficial and successful conclusion.
An in-depth analysis of existing business practices and critical processes is the first step. As a result of this analysis we jointly agree how to achieve the objectives for the implementation and the consequent business benefits.

Upgrades

ETS have experience of upgrading clients over a variety of different MFG/Pro versions. We can assist with evaluating which elements of bespoke software are no longer required and advise on the new functionality available.
Most recently we have assisted a client to migrate to eB2.1, including a large number of bespoke programs.

Project Management

ETS have many years of managing projects, from full implementations to small scale projects, such as implementing add-on functionality. ETS can provide full management of your projects or can work in partnership with client’s staff to manage their projects.

Technical

ETS has extensive experience of operating system installation, configuration management and performance monitoring including environments such as HP-UX, AIX,Windows,and UNIX.

Software Support

For software developed for the client by ETS we can provide annual support at very reasonable rates, to Service Level Agreements agreed with the Client.

ETS can provide training in both Progress and MFG/Pro.

Progress

Designed primarily for IT professionals, our Progress® Syllabus is intended to develop enterprise-class solutions using Progress® software. Our range of courses span a broad spectrum of topics from introductory courses for individuals with little or no Progress® experience, to advanced courses for seasoned Progress® professionals, topics include:

• Beginners, Intermediate or Advanced Progress® in combination with best Practices leading to Mfg/Pro implementation & correct design and application of Triggers
• Applications Development Using the 4GL
• Ad-Hoc courses designed to meet your specific training needs is our forte

ETS will provide all soft training materials at your site and will give advice on the provision of hardware and configuration concerns in preparation for your course. We encourage the students to bring examples of issues or problems that they need to resolve. We can make the examples used in the class very pertinent to the environment, and show the students how to approach a specific set of tasks using Progress®.

MFG/Pro

Training courses can be tailored to suit the audience and your own requirements, and can be either hands on with a small number of people(1-3), or more formal class sessions for larger numbers. Training can be given on most functional areas of MFG/Pro.
